Back in Africa

Wasn't planning to come back this year but the job i was meant to start was delayed, so i made some quick plans and three weeks later i am in Cape Town till the 26th December. Then back to Montana for four days and then on the 1st January i go  to Peru for the Dakar Rally 2019.
Arrived in Cape Town on the 20th November and got my bike serviced and 2 brand new Heidenau tyres and all new fluids etc.Had a Thanksgiving dinner for the family and friends which was great fun. Peter, John and myself went for a Saturday morning ride over Chappies to Cape Point and was a spectacular day.The wind had dropped just like the boom at Chappies dropped on John as he went through and smashed his mirror and arm , he roared off on his 200 leaving the boom dangling on the ground.

I worked on my bike and panniers for the rest of the day hoping to leave tomorrow. Not as prepared as i wished and missing some key items as usual, one being where am i going to, but the thought is to go to Epupa Falls in Namibia which is on the border of Angola and quite a ways from Cape Town, but to afraid to see how many miles exactly. Then will head east somewhere, no need to plan that far ahead.
